The principle of the least expenditure of the "price of action" [1] makes it possible to have in the liquid membrane of the cell such an operative memory which for recording information from any of the receptors (multiclass number) utihzes a minimum portion of free energy ~ 5-10 kT or transfer of one electron with a loss less than 250 MeV. According to the hypothesis, such a memory is constructed from identical protein molecules and different lipid addresses for the different receptors. It operates on Brownian collisions, the weak interactions between the molecules and the capture bonds controlled by the MC of the cell with minimum expenditure of the free energy on formltion and disruption of the bond.
